THIRD GRADE - MRS. PETERMEIER

           Hello and welcome to a brand new school year!  My name is Kris Petermeier.  I am excited to be teaching Third Grade here at Browerville Elementary.  I grew up in Hayfield, MN where my parents were both teachers and my father coached!  I see some sort of similarities in my childhood life and my life here in Browerville!  I am married to Wayne Petermeier who teaches Fifth Grade here at BHS.  He is also the Athletic Director and coaches football.  We have three boys.  Brent works in Special Ed. at Madison Elementary in St. Cloud, Kyle teaches 5th grade at Chokio Alberta Elementary, and Nate is a Senior here at BHS!    I LOVE to read, play piano, watch any sporting event (especially my boys), exercise and get together with family and friends.  I LOVE chocolate, chips and salsa, and Diet Mountain Dew!  WE ARE GOING TO HAVE AN                         AWESOME YEAR!!

Weekly Homework

Please have your child read every day for about 15 minutes.  Talk to your child about what they have read.  Ask about characters, setting, problems, solutions, etc.  

Studying Spelling words will also be part of homework for the week.
