Language arts--MRS. stephanie eckel

I graduated from Glencoe High School (now Glencoe/Silver Lake). I then attended North Dakota State University and graduated in 2001. I have a Bachelors of Science in English Education and Speech Communication Education with a concentration in Spanish. I am currently pursuing my master's degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead in Speech Communication. Prior to teaching at Browerville, I have taught at Wadena/Deer Creek, Staples/Motley and Eagle Valley.
I am currently head coach of the Browerville/Eagle Valley Speech Team and National Speech & Debate Association. Since 2006 we have had 45 state competitors. 31 of them have placed in the top 8 in the state including two state champions!
My husband Jay and I have been married for 24 years and we have two children Madeline 21 and Adrianna 17.
I enjoy cooking, flower gardening, reading, traveling and spending time with my family. Our cabin is my happy place!
I encourage all students to take a more active role in their education. I love teaching and the relationships that we can build with our students. I look forward to what I will learn from my students this year.
Please email me with any questions or concerns that you may have. My email is: [email protected]
